When we decided to make online store limited messenger bags, I just came up with something made of ballistic nylon.
This is where the idea comes from.

It’s old, but I really love its timeless charm. It still looks cool even after couple of decades.
I was thinking why I’m so hooked with ballistic nylon on the way of making it.
I’m still not sure why, but it might be “being simple” and the balance of the material and the design.
Blue Lug’s the messenger bags are literally the standard. Made with what you need and without what you don’t.
It’s like “Yes, this is what I want!”.
Messenger bag are just bags and you don’t need excessive features to use it for work.
You can say the same thing about hiking backpacks.
I just went off the track a little bit, but I believe it’s done in the good balance of being simple and the texture of material.
If I were to work as a messenger again, I’d like to use this bag without any doubt.
Light gray is also my favorite point and there’s no ballistic nylons in light gray nowadays.
But, thanks to Jugg from our sewing team, he found the fabric called 66nylon which has almost the same strength.
It looks pretty much like ballistic nylon if you look it closer.
Since it’s durable fabric, I thought it would be heavier, but I don’t really feel heavy at all.
I really love messenger bags that have been used so much.
