As other SURLY frames, this is also fun to build and can be built in your own way with a little effort.
I think it’s probably the ultimate MTB they came up with in their experience on MTBs.
Above all, I was shocked when I rode it and I fell in love with it at once.
I had a plan to but a suspension fork and make it a hardtail MTB right away, but contrary to how it looks, it rides so smoothly and made me start to smile. Oh, it’s kinda weird to praise it too much, so I just stop it.
For now, I wanna enjoy Karate Monkey itself with a original steel fork.
The braze-ons on the original fork make me think how I should pack my gear.
This is the frame which you can’t stop thinking about the next customization and where you’re gonna go with it like CRUST Evasion. If you’re looking for a MTB or a dirt tourer, I’d like you to check this out.
