Visiting The Cub House
More LA content!
Some of you may not be familiar with The Cub House in the first place. Please allow me to introduce them.

The Cub House is located in San Marino California.
They’re IG handle being “itsnotabikeshop“, they carry loads of bicycling apparel and fun bicycle related knick knack and surprisingly bikes…They also have a cactus shop inside, making this place a fun place to visit.
This is the owner Sean. A lovely human being with a big ol smile on his face all the time. One of the nicest people I have ever met. I can get why people are always around him. There’s always something fun going on around him, which is why I think people become his fans like myself.

The Cub House has many projects,
Team Dream Bicycling Team – A clothing brand that makes fun apparel full of colors with high quality material. They make clothing that you can wear daily, clothing that you can wear for bike rides and more bike related products such as water bottles and more.
Beach Club – A bicycle frame company that recently was launched, which we will be carrying here at Blue Lug.
The LA Invitational event itself was a representation of Sean’s personality. People who doesn’t ride bikes were even at The Cub House and having a great time.
While my stay in LA, I shot a little shop tour vid with them which you can watch below. (shoutout to Sub for the nice edit as always)
And here are some more photos shot by Sub.
Most of the people who work here used to road race, so you can see a lot of classic road racing gear displayed throughout the shop.
Gotta say though, the main thing I want to show is of course the Beach Club bikes. The Bike I ride, the Al Dente is great. I can’t wait to show you more stuff from them, including the track frame they launched, not long ago.
Right next to the main building, there is a cactus shop owned by Sean’s wife Carla, which kinda reminded my of Tandem. I was also super envious of their outside mechanic space. Just imagine doing that in Japan, all the tools will rust in a week!
Anyhow, The Cub House was a shop filled with all around great vibes.
We have a lot of exciting products we made with them coming soon to the Blue Lug Website, so stay tuned!
