Do you have your favourite gloves? Well, I guess a lot of people are wondering “which gloves should I get this winter?” every year though.

I have my favourite and that is GUNTE wool glove by TEMBEA.
I love these breathable gloves because they suit great with my daily clothes and my commuting bike.

This time we had an opportunity to collaborate with TEMBEA to make the special gloves.


The gloves will be released from our “TANDEM” collection themed “Let’s enjoy cycling with family and friends!”. TEMBEA’s staff enjoy riding bikes actually!

There is a variety of GUNTE models but I chose my favourite 5-fingered one. Because they cover your fingers individually and you can feel warmth of wool even better.


The illustrations on the gloves are our classic “TANDEM cat” and “Cookie Cutters”. Actually the “Cookie Cutters” are newly drawn for GUNTE by Chiko-san, wife of MAX-san from our sewing team. “TANDEM cat” is drawn by her too, by the way.


When you need a pair of gloves that means it gets dark earlier, so we made the drawings reflective and because of that on coming cars can see you better and you will stand out when you give a hand signal.


Of course the gloves are recommended when you walk as well. I happened to get scared of the cars don’t realise me often so this reflective will make safer to walk after the sunset. The design is not only cute but also practical.


Another feature of GUNTE is its compactness. It’s useful while we have more stuff to wear like coat, scarf, ear-cuffs and gloves. You can just put your GUNTE in your outer’s pocket or stem bag.

Winter with GUNTE is totally different from one without. Warmth, compactness, cuteness and handiness… everything is just right to use and make me feel fun to go out no matter how cold outside is.
