Finally, I broke Philwood bottom bracket.

It’s been 7 years and 3 months because I started to use it in September 2018.

I calculated and the daily rate is only 19 yen (it’s cheap!).

It looks better than I expected, but it might be because I just ride it even in a rain.

When I remove the crank, I found there’re too much tiny elements.

I regretted that I haven’t been using a mud guard.

Oh, left side looks worse…

It sounds squeaking when I touched the shaft.

Umm, it’s so natural to feel it when I ride.

Oh, it’s terrible!

Headset, hub, BB and any bicycle parts which rotate are meant to be like this.

Even this extraordinarily durable Philwood BB is eventually broke, so yours might be the same…

But, this is the reason why I do love Philwood products!

Yes, you can replace the bearings!

I put a mud guard for this time.

It’s also great to add your favorite color to your bike.

Just in case, I re-tapped the thread.

Replacing the bearings, it came back like it’s brand new!

The shell part is anodized in black for extra corrosion resistance.

It’s so cool! But, you can’t see it when it’s on bike though.

It’s now super smooth!

I’m so satisfied with its riding quality!

I’m gonna be approaching 40s when the next time, lol.
