The 6 Wheels Report
First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who joined and visited The 6 Wheels event at Bikelore 2024.
Here is my report of the event!
I’m sure many people were inspired after looking at all these beautiful bikes and cars with so much style.
The location was fantastic as last time. The venue of the event was surrounded by the bike race track, so the bike racers should have been able to see this cool view.
We had some very tasty car x bike combo come together! Take a look!
This was the award winning car from the last time. I was stoked to see it again.
The red Golf, Subaru Legacy and the Civic are the cars owned by the hosts of the event.
We were able to hold this amazing event because of those who entered! Thank you so much again.
Special thanks to Thule for joining and setting a booth!
Shoutout to Fat Meat for serving amazing burgers. I ate their burgers two days in a row. Yum!
A Doppelgänger of my car!?
No, it’s car that was actually for sale. Spinning Garage, a VW Golf 2 speciality car dealer who I’m friends with came to the event and were displaying this sick car.
Thank you again Spinning Garage!
Chevy Suburban, that was like the size of an average one room apartment in Japan.
E30!
Handmade track bike by Speed Vagen from USA!
Porsche 911 type 930!!
My dream car right here.
NSX!! The first general production car with all-aluminum semi-monocoque!
Can’t believe I got to see it at The 6 Wheels event.
My friends from the Car Service crew entered the show too, with his Porsche 911 type 964.
The 1st gen Toyota Aristo with the Lexus GS conversion. Shoutout to Jay Z
My friend who I grew up riding track bikes entered with an incredible custom car. UNVER crew for life!
Shoutout to the dudes who drove through the snow from Yamagata with their Honda Today.
There were many more insane cars at the event, but I can’t post all here, so I have them posted on the 6 Wheels IG page
We gave out awards for three categories. New Car, Old Car, and Best Of 6 Wheels. The Winners below…
Best Of NEW CAR
Holy moly.
A two seater convertible seemed impossible to load up bikes, but this car had the carrier stuck with suction cups and had two bikes loaded up!
The 4th gen Mazda Miata with Light weight aluminum wheels, sports tires and a perfect suspension height.
It’s been 35 years since the first Miata (Roadster) came out but the Miata s still a very popular car, in this day and age where the numbers of production for Japanese sports cars are declining.
Driving through a winding road, unload the bike and go climb up a hill with a bike for a beautiful view…now that’s a great way to spend my day off!
Congrats!!
Best Of OLD CAR
Toyota Estima made it’s debut to the world in 1990.
A spacious interior with a huge window. The nickname “Genius Egg” describes the 90s retro futuristic vibes perfectly.
At first, I thought the car was a stock car, but I soon realized that it was converted into the Toyota Previa (the US version of the Estima).
Could those be RAV 4 wheels? I love it’s got slightly knobby tires.
The All-Trac badge is a proof of a Toyota 4wd. The Celica was racing rally in the 80s-90s, so family cars back then also had those technologies.
The three loaded up bikes were about as old as the car, which I thought was a great detail. The Panaracer Dirt Tires on the chrome 80s Ross(?) bike was a nice touch.
Thank you and congrats!
Best Of THE 6WHEELS
BMW 318is E36!
The 3 series is BMW’s best selling model, producing Coupes, convertibles, sedans, wagons and many more.
The 318is was made
Among them, this 318is has a different engine and transmission design from other models, as it was developed with the assumption that it would be used as a base for racing vehicles at the time.
The car had custom air suspensions that enables the rider to adjust the vehicle height freely, so it can ride through rough grounds, and ride the circuit.
Affinity LoPro loaded on the top of the car.
The owner had a background in street culture, such as skateboarding, track bikes, and BMX. Great style.
He came all the way down from Tottori, which was so rad.
Thank you and congratulations!!!
The special crewneck sweatshirts I made for this event is now up online too!
