SON x BLG?

It’s always mind blowing to see how a bicycle hub is made from huge aluminum chunks.

Here to talk about Son Nabendynamo, the German bicycle component manufacturer, who make quality dynamo hubs and dynamo lights, that are crucial to our bike builds.

80% of our employees here at Blue Lug probably has at least one of their hubs. Anne the bag designer has their hubs and lights on all three of her bikes, which I totally get because the hubs barely slow you down and the light shines very bright providing the sense of safety when riding at night.

We had been dreaming for this moment for quite some time and we are very happy to finally introduce you to the Son Nabendynammo x Blue Lug project.

We had various ideas of what to put on the hubs, but we ended up putting “BLG” for Blue Lug where the “SON” logo is usually placed. We kept it simple because we didn’t want the design to be too loud that it wouldn’t look good on certain bikes.
