Beach Club is one of the new bike brands that we started carrying after last year’s MADE bike show.

The Al Dente, their aluminum gravel bikes made in Italy.

As the name of the bike suggests, it is a bike that is a little bit hard.

The frames being aluminum, they can anodize the frames in beautiful colors than that of  paint finishes.

This was the first time I have ever seen an anodized bike frame.

MADE BIKE SHOW 2023

It’s cool to see The Cub House crew riding the Beach Club Bikes. You know it’s a good bike when almost the entire crew rides the bikes they are good.

The gentleman giving the peace sign to Isshu is Sean and the other person on the right side of the picture is Tebow. from the Cub House crew.

This is my Al Dente. (I couldn’t resist)

I was originally planning on having them decide the color, but I thought there won’t be another time that I get to choose a color of an anodized frameset, so I got some inspo from Sinewave dynamo lights and went with lavender x aqua blue.

I didn’t know if the colors would be lavender heavy or the opposite, which was pretty exciting.

I was so stoked to see the finished product! The colors were just like what I have imagined.

Anywho, I’ll give you a break down of my Al Dente.

The theme of this build is “The fastest bike I have”.

The Campy EKAR from Italy is possibly my favorite part of this bike.

I’ve always wanted to use these.

The shifters on the brake levers are really cool.

They’re also called the worlds lightest gravel components.

Sean from The Cub House has the same components btw.

LA Invitational 2024 day2

1×13, 38-44t chainrings, 9-36/9-42/10-44 cassettes.

I always feel that I need more low gears when riding, so I’m definitely hyped on the 13 speed.

My first time using Campagnolo hydraulic disc brakes. It’s a very chill brake, so it felt easy to control the bike.

As I said, I wanted this bike to be fast, so I chose the Astral Cycling Solstice Disc Rim.

It’s an aluminum frame, but super light weight like carbon.

The max tire clearance for the Al Dente is about 700x45c, but I went with slick 35c tires, because I wanted speed.

It actually rides pretty fast, it’s almost like a road bike.

That said, I swapped to the Ultradynamico Cava 39c tires, since I went riding in a rindo (forrest path). It still rides super smooth.

Gotta appreciate some lovely colors in a nice build.

This bike is definitely a machine!
The high responsiveness of this bike is so fun.

I recently had the chance to ride with the other Beach Club owner employees.

We didn’t have a beach near us, so we became the Port Club.

I was the only dude who wore a kit. It’s all good though.

The spacing for the Beach Club frames are 100mm/142mm with flat mount disc brakes, so frame swapping is super easy.

Anyways, I’m happy I got this bike!
