As you may know, we got some new info about the Mash AC-4 has been released!

All the new detailed finish are super cool and I’m always stoked to see the new colors, but the Raw finish is just something else.

We should be getting more info soon, so we gotta keep our eyes on Mash SF.

While we are in the mood for Mash, I’d like to do a bike check of my own bike.

I think I have been riding this bike the most this year.

It’s been 9 months since I built this bike. (wow time flies)

I originally had the bike built with a flat bar + front rack set up, but I changed to a drop + bar bag set up.

To be honest, I have only been able to ride this on my commutes, but I have really been enjoying this bike. It’s so fun riding this bike, I often go on a 30km ride after work.

It’s been 4, 5 years since I personally owned a drop bar bike, but I’m really liking it so far.

Since I took off the front rack, I decided to put the Swift Industries Paloma Bag from 6, 7 years ago.

I personally think this is a masterpiece of a bar bag.

I of course love how the bike rides, but having a bar bag makes a bike very useful, which I think makes you love your bike more.

These Rolf Wheel sets are treating me extremely well.

I heard some cool stories from Clint, who recently visited Astral & Rolf factory, so I am loving the wheels more.

Rolf hubs being made by White Industries, I really like how well they spin and easy to maintain. I would always choose Phil Wood hubs for track bikes though.

I am planning to ride more miles with this thing, so I changed the gearing to gain more top speed.

GRX cranks only take specific chain rings, which are only available in 40T or 42T, so I was giving up on the gearing.

However, Wolf Tooth has blessed us with GRX compatible chain rings.

I changed from 40T to 46T. I’m probably the only one who would do this type of stuff.

The bike has been getting worn out and finally looking like my bike.

I once bought a really fun MTB, but it was too much for riding in the city, so I had to give it up. I first thought a road bike would go through the same thing, but I’m feeling that I would be spending a lot of time with this bad boy.

That’s about it. It was fun writing about my own bike. Might do it again.

See ya soon,

Tommy
