Bike Checks MASH STEEL SS!
MASH SF produced their first original frame called Steel SS this year. They just made 100 pieces of each color and we are the only official retailer in Asia. We’ve built 2 MASH STEEL recently. Let’s do some bike checks!
This bike is designed with feedback from messenger and MASH riders. MASH used the premium Columbus Tubing. The quality steel is highly durable.
The frame and fork are designed with clearance for 38c tires for cross racing.
The MASH logos on the rear dropout.
The headset is ChrisKing. This has a deservedly legendary reputation for almost perpetual silky smoothness.
PhilWood has always been known for extreme quality and that the track hub is the bedrock of this reputation.
These hubs are as smooth as it gets, and what’s more they will stay that smooth for years and years.
The Selle Italia flite saddle is a classic, and this one has MASH bolt icon in black.
The handlebar is our original Nitto for shred bar.
The silver smoke finish draws inspiration from paint techniques of the early 90’s. This metallic silver base with smoke contrast creates a beautiful finish with white artwork on drive-side, and black on the non-drive.
This is another MASH STEEL we built. This one is the Black Chrome finish. It is fully chrome plated then coated with a black clear.
The black and orange colorway is inspired by San Francisco Giants.
The orange headset is Chris King.
The handlebar is the Nitto for shred bar. The wide flat handlebar is a great fit for this frame.
The crankset is SRAM Omnium. These are really stiff and smooth.
The Saddle is Selle Italia flite 1990.
The brake and brake levers are Paul Components.
The Philwood hubs are the best choice if you are looking for a hub for life.
The HED Belgium is one of the sweetest rims we have.
By the way, our mechanic Duncan is now in Minneapolis for Tracklocross finals! He rode MASH Works and won the Tokyo elimination race. If you see him there say what’s up to him!
Adios amigos!
