3way pannier restocked!

I guess it not so much of a bother to wear color matching products with your friend when it’s something small, but if it’s something like a pannier, maybe it’s a different story. So we prepared different color options, there you go!

Now it’s got 6 color variations. But which one should I get?? Luckily, a happy guest joined me, Yue-chan. “Ann-chan, I’m also considering to buy a second one!”.

“Me tooooo! New colors are so Kawaii!!”, Nacchan says. So then, let’s start a fitting session!!

“How about this one?” “But this one fits as well!” Spending time choosing colors is the best moment.

Although I already knew what I want, by getting opinions from everyone, my decision wavers, or I learn new findings.

It’s quite rare to see all of us buying the same bag all at once, so let me introduce how everyone uses their 3way panniers differently!!

Nacchan from online store team / RIVENDELL A.homer hilsen x 3way pannier (mesh ivory)

Nacchan’s bike had a happy miraculous problem: every color fitted perfectly with her bike! But she chose the one she had the most interest from the very start. Seems like there’s a plan to detach her WALD basket, so she bought this pannier to keep the cargo capacity.

Yue-chan from global online store team / SURLY cross check x 3way pannier (mesh black)

She was one of the first one to buy the 3way pannier since the release, and this one is her second (the first one was the mesh beige!) Once started I using it, I cannot live without it, she said, and I completely agree. It’s also one of the perfect ways to change the mood of your bike, just changing one bag really does have an impact!

Ann from Sewing team / SURLY straggler x 3way pannier (mesh pink)

Until today I have been using the prototype version for testing, so I decided to buy myself a complete version! As you get older, you crave for more exotic colors, that’s a thing isn’t it? Well I got everyone’s Kawaii approval, chose pink that fits brilliantly with my frame color.

I can only remember how fun this fitting was, but now I look back at those photos, I can definitely see each personalities in their choices.

Although all three of them now are using this as pannier bags, please don’t forget how important the “3way” part is for this product.

First, as a pannier bag.

Second, as a shoulder bag with one of the two straps that comes with it. When you wanna leave you bike on the side of the street.

And lastly, as a casual tote bag. It’s cute and I like it, but sometimes you want both hands free when shopping, right? If you use both straps, you can use it as a rucksack!

Personally my grandpa is was a Shiitake mushroom farmer, and this rucksack version reminds me of his bag when mushroom picking, and thus, I love this style.

But if you don’t use it as a rucksack, you are going to have one strap left…

You can keep it as a spare, but it could stay deep in your closet. Let’s give a purpose, I recommend you to attach it on the bike pocket and use that as a shoulder bag.

Most other bags will require you to get a separately sold strap, so having straps with the bag is quite a deal!

The city is starting to feel a bit cooler!

All the long distant trips and park picnics that I gave up because of the heat, can finally restart.

I’m all ready for a picnic with my dog. Another bike custom was done by Shami-san, and now got a pannier to go with. All I need to do is to wait for autumn to come.

(Let me share a cute photo of autumn Aro-chan took!)

This autumn might again be quite short, but ket’s enjoy the most out of it!
