Tembea x Blue Lug Gunte Gloves
We made Gunte (work gloves in Japanese) again with our friends at Tembea!
We made thee 100% MERINO WOOL GUNTE for the first time, last year with a regular material as an alternative option, but we only made the merino wool version this year, since I wanted people to feel the coziness of merino wool.
This is the inside of the merino wool gunte I used for one season. You can tell how fluffy it becomes.
They are made of natural material, so it won’t shut out wind like high-tech nylon gloves, but they stay dry and cozy all the time.
You get warm as you pedal, even in the winter.
I still have a hard time finding the perfect winter clothes, but I think I found the perfect gloves. These Guntes are very good. I bought two last year and wore both of them throughout the winter.
“BLUG” and “TMEA”, short for Blue Lug and Tembea grip printed on the palms. Great for checking time with smart phones and of course riding a bike. They also work great when you want to open a bottle.
We made these in heather tone threads, five colors in total.
They go great with your ordinary clothes. I highly recommend the gloves as gifts for families and partners too.
