SDG x Blue Lug

“SDG COMPONENTS”
An MTB component manufacturer who mainly produces saddles, founded in 1991. They have a long history at this point, so you may already be familiar with their products.
It’s one of my favorite manufacturers for sure and I keep on buying old and new saddles from them whenever I find a cool one. I’d also like to note that there are many users of their saddles among the Blue Lug staffs.
The Bel-Air is one of their iconic models. They are chunky and treats your bums well.
We’ve fortunately have worked with them a few times already in the past.

The last time we collabed was last year. I bought the Bel-Air saddle made with black denim fabric.
If you’re interested in more of the background of the brand, I highly recommend reading Kaneyan’s blog
We’ve had four collab color variations, and I’m super stoked to introduce you to 3 more color-ways!

These are the new color-ways we’ve made. Navy/reflector, Cow pattern and flame pattern.

Yup, you saw it correctly! They have added the “BLUE LUG” logo on the drive side and “BEL-AIR” on the non-drive side for this batch.

Aro is also an SDG junkie. She chose the navy/reflector this time.
Their not MTB specific saddles, so they can go on any bikes. They look great on track bikes too.

Apparently, they go great on unicycles too.

Dunk chose the cow pattern for his Lowside. There’s no way that these saddles won’t look good on mountain bikes. Funny how his shoes and bike are matching colors. I personally think tilting the nose of the saddle up like Dunk for comfort.

Hey look, I found another SDG junkie. Nagaoka-san from HUB chose the flame pattern.
