It’s Tani from Kamiuma store.

This summer, I went various rides with a lot of people.
The ride in Chiba prefecture with Rivendell riders was so fun. You can ride Rivendells for your daily life, commuting and day-off.

Today, I’m going to introduce something about Rivendell to you, but it’s not about bikes.

Small items and soft goods have arrived from Rivendell.

There must be a lot of you who have been waiting for hoodies and caps.

The baseball caps which have enthusiastic collectors. The models are Roman and his girlfriend from Rivendell HQ.

This time, we have this navy cap with a white logo and,
this olive cap with a gold logo.

I couldn’t get the t-shirt with this fish graphic before, so I’ll definitely buy this hoodie. I think the design is because Grant loves fishing.

RBW logo on the left chest.

I really really wanted a gray one, but it’s getting blackened in the pit, so I can’t buy it. Just pick your favorite one.

The cap is made in the U.S.A!

Also, we’ve restocked frame pumps which has been out of stock so soon at the last time.
Regardless of being from Rivendell, they works really well.

They’re not so good at high pressure for thin tires, but you can get the advantage if it’s bigger than 32C.

If you mainly run your bikes with bigger tires, there’s no need to worry about it.

You can check how to choose right frame pump size for your bikes from here.
Recently, I think a long frame pump looks cool, but I know it doesn’t fit all of your bikes,

so it might be also good to carry small “Mike Miniplumper” in the bag. Still, I do really love putting a long frame pump on a bike. I don’t know. Which do you like the best?

And here’s the Comfort Saddle 182.55 which gave us non-leather option for the saddle.
Great for rainy-day bikes, HilliBikes and the bikes which you store outside.

There’s a little tips for installing this saddle,
just put it “a bit upwards”.

If you level the place where your butt comes, you’ll be surprised how comfy this saddle is. Depending on the height of the handlebar, the sweet spot might be at the angle which makes you feel like “oh, isn’t it too steep?”, but don’t be afraid. Just trust your butt and leave it as it is.

The hard-to-remember name “182.55” is the measurement. It’s the width of this saddle.

And we have well-received stickers. Did you notice it?

They’re actually holographic!

Rivendell’s goods attract people even don’t ride Rivendells.

And there’s one more thing that I would like to introduce you.

Just pay attention to this guy’s feet.

We had these made to realize our ideal socks.

*BLUE LUG×SOCKGUY* line wool socks

When I got interested in bicycles, I admired cyclists from other countries and learned about various cultures for the first time, and the one of them is “socks”.

Then I found that a cycle cap, a messenger bag, a naked chain and a padlock, cut-off work pants and socks are all so familiar with cyclists. There’re always socks next to the gloves at American bike shops.

Of course, socks are quite consumable items for cyclists, and they often wear shorts and they tuck the hems into it.

Especially, SOCKGUY is the cool manufacturer.

Then I became one of the SOCKGUY believer and found the wool one is so comfy. It keeps my feet warm or cool and doesn’t smell.

And i think it’s great if we have usual line socks with this wool material, so we asked them to make it.

The usual tube socks get loosened up so easily.

It’s the best that they match our daily clothes and Dickies really well, but they’re made by SOCKGUY.
Our favorite point is that they don’t get loosened up so easily if you tuck the hems of work pants into them.

Will and James, who are at Rivendell and especially enjoying workwear and vintage clothing, seem to have similar tastes in clothing with us, so I imagined that they might love them too.

(Will always looks cool.)

They’re not from Rivendell, but I feel something connected with their products.

It’s getting colder, so just tuck hems into them and go out for a ride!

That’s all. See you soon!
