We had a heavy snow in Tokyo last week. As I work in a local bike shop, it really sucked, but snowing hard in Tokyo was pretty rare, so we were like, why not to ride fat bikes in the snow? Duh!

Ready?

Shredding!

Wentz was riding the fat bike with 26 x 4.8 tires, which are the fattest tires Surly makes. There was no problem riding on snow. Running performance was very high.

Duncan was riding with 29 x 3.0 tires so-called 29er plus. This is like a thinner tires with bigger wheels setup, which provides smoother and faster riding.

Wheelie battle! We were more excited than any other kids. These things were really fun to ride.

Long skid!

We had to go back and open the shop. We had too much fun!

Surly fat bikes are very versatile. You can ride any kind of situations such as pavement roads and mountains. Blue Lug Kamiuma got many test riding Surly bikes. Please visit and do some test riding!
