Husband and Wife Bikes

My name is Koro. I work in Blue Lug Hatagaya. Today’s bikes I’ll show you are husband and wife’s bikes.
They came to the store together and we helped them to build up new bikes. Let’s do some bike checks!

*All-City Space Horse*
The husband chose All-City Space Horse. This bike pretty much can do it all. Of course, this is capable of everyday commuting. The rear end has eyelets that allow to install a fender and racks. The Space Horse can be a single speed or geared bike.

A single speed commuter needs a lot less maintenance. I usually recommend a single speed for someone want to learn repair or maintain by themselves.

This bike has the wide tire clearance for larger tires up to 42c x 700c.

The drop handlebar and stem are Blue Lug original brand, Fairweather. We designed and Nitto exclusively manufactured for us. The Blue Lug Original brass spacer is a perfect match with the stem.

Metallic green / white frame color fits classic parts, like a leather saddle and handlebar tape.

The saddle is Brooks Swift.

This is a great commuter bike.

*Surly Long Haul Tracker*
This is wife’s bike. Surly LHT has a low bottom bracket and long chainstays, which provide comfort and stability riding. The wheels are 26inch.

A trigger shifter is easy to handle for women.

The Paul chain keeper is a guide to keep your chain right where it belongs. The Pletscher double kickstand was great for daily use.

The saddle is Brooks 150th B17.

The stem and handlebar are Nitto.

The rim is Velocity Atlas Rim.

This bike is beautiful and functional.
