Happy Late New Years (webshop update)
Hey! We’re back! Hope ya’ll been great!
Things are becoming slower than usual here at Blue Lug, and I am finally able to write this blog down.
First of all, Thank you for all the orders you guys placed during our holiday break! I was really surprised that we beat last year’s number of orders. The new years orders have now been shipped and we’re back to our normal schedule.
What ya’ll been up to lately? Did you already get your first ride in?
Looks like Tommy from Blue Lug Yoyogi-park was able to get his first trail ride in with his pals. Looks hella fun. Im jealous.
Chuyan and Matsu went on a ride to Tokyo station(2 last pics). I (Colonel) used to go to a school near Tokyo station. The only thing I remember about Tokyo station is that place is like a maze. I am 100% sure I’ll still get lost in that place.
I am so blessed to be in a position where I can hop on my bike to go to work.
I didn’t go on an exciting ride like the two above but I enjoyed the holiday. I was finally able to go back to my parent’s and spend a few days. Other than that, I was just cruising around my neighbor hood, taking things mellow.
This is a picture I took on my phone at my favorite spot right near my house. You can see Mt. Fuji from here!(sorry for the terrible photo)
We also had a little bit of snow. It’s actually pretty rare to have snow in Tokyo and this amount of snow is considered “a lot”.
Yes. I know, we’re wimps.
Okay, enough for the holiday stuff. It’s already been over two weeks since we came back to work! Let’s see how the mechanic dudes are doing.
Ah, Kaneyan is working on the new yellow Steamroller build.
Digi wrapping them drops.
Shami working on a Surly x Clydesdale Fork build!
Daichi lacing up a set of wheels.
And the new guy, Ikura is working on his own Steamroller with the Clydesdale. Nice!
Looks like the boys are cooking up a lot fun bikes!
As we take a peek out side, we could see our customer’s bikes. Being able to look at the customer’s bike is probably one of my favorite part about my job. I always get inspired by a lot of their builds.
What’s new for Blue Lug International?
We recently added a new feature called “Staff Review”. It’s basically like short blog posts which our staff members give an honest review to some of the items and some tips regarding the stuff we carry.
Some of the posts are ground breaking life hacks and some of them are just silly posts that the guys just felt like posting. I myself enjoy reading them in my spare time. I hope ya’ll go check it out!
That’s all I have to say for now. I’m gonna end the blog with the cutest shiba pup I met at my local Seven Eleven.
