I had the chance to test these hubs out on my Ritchey Road Logic, before the release.

I laced the hubs with the Astral Solstice rims.

The first thing I thought about the hubs from building the wheels are its rigidity. It felt straightforward and easy to build, with no unexpected quirks.

I used the hubs for commuting, riding back to my parent’s and road trips regardless of the weather for about 150 days. If my math is correct, I road about 5000km on the current wheels.

The rigidity I felt upon building the wheels were real. They feel smooth and safe.

I haven’t done any maintenance so far, and I have no issues with the hubs, thus far. I even feel they’re smoother now that they are broken in.

My favorite thing about it is the sound. It’s relatively quiet, but the crisp engagement of the pawls still comes through, giving it a really satisfying sound.

Overall, I’d happily say they’re a good quality hubs with a great price!

I’ll keep riding it to find out just how many kilometers it can take before it finally gives up.
