Did a bar swap for my Brompton. There are some pros and cons, so I thought about writing it here.
The handlebar I chose is the Sim Works Fun 3 Bar. It like slight back sweep and a slight rise on them. The width of the bar is the same as the S type Brompton bars.
I swapped the bar from the stock M bar, so the riding position became pretty low. I share this bike with my partner, so it worked out. The saddle height becomes higher than the bars when I ride it, so I could ride it in a “sporty position” which also worked out.
These were the pros.
I knew this would happen, but yeah, the handlebar sticks out when I fold the bike. It didn’t bother me too much, since I don’t fold it that often, so I kept it this way.
Overall, I’m pretty happy about this bar swap!
