New colors of the Fairweather Frame bag ADV and SP has arrived.

The bag that’s on my Crust Derecho is the Frame Bag SP. The “SP” stands for “Spoon” because it looks like one. This spoon shape bag gives the bike some space for two bottle cages. Another thing is that the bag is thin, so it won’t interfere with your pedaling. It’s one of my favorite bike bags for sure.

The bag that’s on Kaisei’s Fairweather Dodo is the Frame Bag ADV. The “ADV” stands for “Adventure” and “Advance”. It can hold a lot of stuff, while having access to one cage mount.

I was fortunate enough to decide the colors for this batch of frame bags. The theme of this collection was “A custom order-like color way”. I wanted it to be a color that we normally wouldn’t use, while not being too loud.

I chose the olive ripstop nylon with beige Cordura Nylon for the gussets.

The orange zipper pull is a fun feature we added. The ADV has white zippers, adding contrast to the darker tone.

The stem bag on my Derecho is the*FAIRWEATHER* stem bag (rip olive), which is the same color as the frame bag. There’s also the *FAIRWEATHER* all terrain pannier (beige) that would match with the two. I’d love to see you combine these bags for your trips .

The other color for the two bags uses the same fabrics. They look really nice on Wentz and Tara’s bikes.

Ripstop white for the main part of the bag and Cordura Nylon green for the gussets. Ripstop material is light weight, but also very tough and the Cordura Nylon is a nice stiff material that will keep the bag in shape.

Love Wentz’s color combo with the *FAIRWEATHER* handlebar bag ADV (forest green).

*SURLY* straggler (52)

Kaisei had his down tube bottle cage blocked with the ADV bags, but you could also do the opposite like the two bikes above.

Tara put the bag on to his Ritchey Road Logic. The SP bags works great with bikes with narrow Q-facto, due to its think profile.

*CRUST BIKES* derecho (56)

*BEACH CLUB* al dente frame (54) MingMing's

I think bikes with drop bars are the best for the SP bags. The pink and blue Beach Club Al’Dente is my bike set up for the OMM race I attended two years ago.

*CRUST BIKES* bombora

Of course, it doesn’t have to be on a fast bike. This Bombora cruiser is a very good example.

Both bags are available in two sizes. Tara’s Road Logic is a size 51 with 532mm top tube and is using the M size bag, with no extra space. My Derecho is a large with 590mm top tube and using the L size bag, leaving some space. The large size bags are pretty big, so I think frame sizes above 54 should choose the L.

You can red more about the sizing here.

We also got the retsocks for the OG colors, if you missed out on them.

Thanks for reading!
