Hi, it’s Tommy from BLUE LUG Yoyogi-Park store!
In this review, I’m gonna give you some tips for replacing tires and tubes!
It’s not so hard and you don’t have to be worried about having a flat.
I’m sure that you can enjoy cycling even more if you can do it on your own.
Alright, so let’s begin with some tools.

15mm wrench, 2 or 3 tire levers and 6mm hex wrench.
Many of track bike hub nuts can be loosened with 15mm wrench.
6mm hex wrench is for some other hubs like Philwood and Paul.
If you ride a bike with QR skewers, then you can remove wheels by your hands.

Next thing is the size of tubes. It’s a bit complicated.
One is called “700C” and used mainly for road bikes and track bikes.
And another one is called “26”” and used mainly for MTBs and touring bikes.
Size should be on your tires, so please check it before!
The descriptions of 23C and 1.75″ means widths of the tires. Former is in mm, and later is in inch.

Choose the correct tubes for your tires!
Oh, yes. I forgot to write about the valve length!
There’re some different lengths of the valves and you can’t pump up tires with too short valves.
So, just be careful about it.
Hope this would be of some help!
