DXR is the only BMX racing grade from Shimano.

Recently, this DXR V-brake is graded as the highest.

(They also have T4000 which we usually use for Rivendell is from Alivio.)

There used to be V-brakes from XTR and XT which are the higher grade of Shimano MTB components.

Tani the manager of Kamiuma store has installed XT v-brakes which he got around 7 years ago on his Clem, I always feel envy every single time I see them.

(I, I don’t regret not buying it at all, you know?)

Everyone must have experienced this at least once in their lives before like you don’t feel nothing when something is available as a current product, but you’d start looking for it seriously after it’s got discontinued and barely found.

I believe this is gonna be the same since there’s no information that they’ll release alternative ones in the future.

Its polish-like silver finish is only available just for few Shimano products right now.

Don’t forget to switch the brake shoes oppositely since it’s originally designed as a rear brake.

And also, this brake lever is already discontinued too.

I do recommend you all to get them while you could.

The trick to justify is saying to yourself like “This is an investment. I’m now buying a gold nugget.”.

Don’t take your parents and rim brakes for granted.
