You can inch up with this brakes.
Not all bikes can do that. There’s some notes.
・Rim Brakes frame.
・There’s enough tire clearnce with your frame.
It cannot be used inch down.
In this case, I converted wheels 650A to 700C.
I attached a 700C wheel to the 650A frame.
Brakes used prior don’t work with a 700C rim.
Yet, this motolite brake works properly because its brake shoe has wide movable range.
It can be adjust like this.
Et Voila! It was lucky that it has enough tire clearance for 700C.
The 650A frames are relatively uncommon. They were used for randonneur style bikes.
This brake boards on magic since it allows you to inch up even rim brake frames.
