The Koma light, it’s safe to say that these are the smallest and the most simple lights we have in our selection. Koma lights are not your typical bike light that you attach on the bars with rubber straps.

You would need some kind of eyelets on your bike to screw them on.

*SURLY* new disc trucker
(If its a Surly bike, you could screw them onto the fender eyelets.)

There are many other ways to mount these lights if you get creative.

I’ll show you one example.

I used this method with the Rivendell Roadini which I recently built for a customer.

As you can tell, the frame does not have any eyelets on the fork so I decided to mount the lights on the struts of the Nitto M-18 front racks.

Here’s what you will need.

*NITTO* campee bolt set.

Issue from BL Kamiuma calls this “Mr. Black Hole” since they just swallow all of the problems we face when installing something onto Nitto racks like it’s nothing.

Mr. Black Hole needs a partner. Here’s when Micky Mouse joins the party. By Micky Mouse, I mean the Gamoh rack adapter.

Micky, I’m sorry but I’m gonna have to do something you might not like…

Say goodbye to your left ear!

After amputating the left ear, make sure to sand it down and make it look natural.

Then, you just gotta put those two together! Now you got yourself an eyelet on the struts!

Now let’s install the Koma lights.

Ta-dah! What do you think? It’s easy, nice and simple right?
