We often use the Wald baskets without the stays. To fix the basket to the rack, we use zipties, cable ties or tie wraps, however you want to call them.
Today, I will be writing an efficient way to fix the basket with zipties.
I call this the cross tie and this is possibly the best way to do it.
Place the ziptie diagonally like this…
Go under the rack,
Now go over the rack,
ZIP! Easy and locked in pretty tight already.
Here’s what underside looks like. If you tie three or four places with the cross tie, you should be able to get that basket locked in place really tight.
