How’s it going, everybody? Finally, spring has come to Tokyo. It is still chill sometimes, but it’s nice out for a ride around the city.

The other day, these 2 Americans, Collin and Milan from Rustrust bikes came to our shop. Before starting his bike packing travel down south in Japan, they got some small parts here, like tubes and patches.

-3 weeks later-

While Milan kept traveling down south, Collin came back to Tokyo himself because he had to go back to work in America. He got a cardboard bike box for his flight from us. When you look for a brand new bike box that can be put your bike in like Collin ask us.

Anyways, today I would like to show you the Sury Long Haul Trucker built by Blue Lug.

*SURLY* long haul trucker (54)The handlebar is the Fairweather Bullmoose bar. This is a great handlebar for commuters and gravel bikes. If you use on your fixed gear bike, I recommend to cut them and make the handlebar a little shorter though.

We chose the 650B because we have more variety of 650B tires than 26’s now (We just stocked TERAVAIL tires!) and 650B has more lightweight and high-quality options.  It should be faster on smoother roads as well.

*SURLY* long haul trucker (54)The shifter is an old school W shifter lever. This is very simple and reliable, and it is great that you don’t need to take the shifters out when you change a handlebar, which is great.

If you come to ride around Japan Like Collin, please visit our shop in Tokyo. We are here to help you guys. Or just come to check cool bikes! See you soon!
