The Day of THOMSON – THOMSON Remake Items
*Additional information* We added more our original THOMSON products such as sacoches, compact wire locks and ankle bands! (Nov.5th)
Anne is the newest member of Blue Lug. She joined our team as a sawer and is good at remaking products. She just made creative frame pads for Blue Lug Kamiuma 6th anniversary last month and many people loved it.
Then, we came up our next project.
October 6 is the day of Thomson! It’s not offcial. We just decided because in Japanese, the character for the number 10 is a similar sound to “TOU”, and 6 is like “MU”. Therefore October 6 (10/6) sounds similar to the word for THOMSON, TOU-MU(SON). Just wordplay.
Most of you already know THOMSON is an amazing manufacturer that has been making superior quality CNC alloy bicycle components at their factory in the US. They manufacture commercial aircraft components as well.
Their CNC machining parts are excellent quality, lightweight and longevity. THOMSON is legendary.
We’ve been selling a lot of THOMSON parts for a long time and collecting their bags, which came with their parts. So Anne reused Thomson bags to remake those items for celebrating the day of THOMSON!
Thomson Frame Pad ¥2,600- +tax (about 23USD)
Thomson Pouch Large Size ¥2,000- +tax (18USD)
Thomson Pouch small Size ¥1,600- +tax (about 14USD)
Thomson Circle Pillow ¥3,000- +tax (about 27USD)
Like the onigiri reflectors, she made each product one by one. It is all like one-of-a-kind.
We will start selling them in Blue Lug Hatagaya first and then put on our shopping site on October 7th in Japan time. If you are in Japan then, please visit our Hatagaya store and have a look. If you are interested in purchasing it online, please wait until the 7th.
At last, this is the special one! Boom!
Thomson man apron set ¥198,000- +tax (about 1730USD)
You can put THOMSON seatposts, stems and seat clamps on this apron.
Those parts are included in the price. (Wait what!?) We really hope people from THOMSON see this and get it 🙂
It weighs 4.36kg (9.6lb)!
Next Monday is a national holiday in Japan. Please drop by our shop!
Sayonara!
