Even though I don’t own one, I am obsessed with old school mountain bikes.
I just LOVE them so much.

I’ve always wanted them, but there’s too many brands and models from that age.
I always can’t make the last step to buying one, and time just goes by.

SALSA, WTB PHOENIX, BONTRAGER, IBIS, SCHWINN HOMEGROWN, BREEZER, RITCHEY, The MB SERIES from BRIDGESTONE, ARAYA MUDDY FOX, CHINELLI and etc…

It’s really just a rabbit hole.

I wanted to find pictures for all of them but I figured that it would take up all my time at work, so I gave up.

One thing I was attracted from all these vintage bike pics, were the colored mad n’ fat mud tires like these.

I loved how these kind of tires adds a little pop to mean looking bikes.
Back in the days, there were more non-black MTB tires.

I feel like mountain biking has become more and more of a competition, rather than just having fun.
So…

Let’s have some fun again shall we?

I present to you the “FAIRWEATHER DIRT LANDER TIRE OFF-WHITE”

I believe that someone out there in the world was waiting for these type of tires.

Since most of the MTBs from these days have 27.5 inch tires, finding 26 inch tires have become quite difficult.
Many of you 26 inch lovers seem to be digging for dead stock tires.
Also, tons of you guys were asking to carry more 26 inch tires through Instagram.

Well, why not make a new one of our own then?

Check out the tread patterns. They look nostalgic don’t they?
And I can’t not talk about the color.
The off-white would be a great contrast to the dirt right?

I gotta be honest, these tires won’t be the best for riding fast.
They’re more for bikes that you could chill on.

You guys recognize the inspiration for the logo?

I knew that these tires would look sick on Riv bikes, but WOW.

Are you guys excited for the Dirt Lander? I’m sure some of you guys are tired of black tires.

Let’s pop things up a little bit aye?
