Surly Bike Checks
Hello everyone! How are you doing?? This is Rokkaku from Blue Lug Kamiuma.
Let me show you bikes we worked in Blue Lug Kamiuma! All bikes I’ll show you are Surly this time.
*SURLY* straggler
The owner got most of the parts from his old Surly Karate Monkey. Surly Straggler is like a disc brake version of Surly Cross Check. Like Surly Cross Check, this can be a single speed bike.
The front rack is the Surly 24-pack front rack.
The Chris King headset is cool as hell.
The crankset is White Industries.
The hubs are Philwood Kiss-Off hub.
I love this simple bike.
*SURLY* OGRE
This model is a MTB bike, but it also can be like a touring bike.
The handlebar is Nitto RM-3 mountain drop.
The stem is Nitto.
The 29 inch wheels are nice for any kinds of road. The single chainring is Wolftooth.
Eyelets on a fork are useful for installing a rack and fender.
Such a cool mountain cruiser bike.
The last one is couple’s bikes.
*SURLY* Cross Check
The fair-weather for cruise tires fit the frame very well. One of the coolset things of Surly Cross Check is that there are various sizes available. Therefore, we can build 700c bikes for small women without problems.
Brooks microfiber bar tape is sick.
The saddle is also Brooks.
Tires are fairweather.
*SURLY* cross check.
This is boy friend’s bike. CooKPaint Works did a custom paint job.
The Soma porter rack is heavy duty.
The saddle is Brooks.
The seat cramp and head cap are Philwood.
