Surly and Rivendell Bike Checks from Kamiuma
*SURLY* long haul trucker
I built up this Surly Long Haul Trucker for a lady visited our shop. The LHT is one of the popular bikes among ladies because of its confortatble ride. This bike was designed for an everyday riding comfort and provides the riders feel less fatigued for long rides.
The frame was beautifully painted navy blue by CookPaint Works. The handlebar is a drop bar, but it is still the up-right position.
The front rack is the Nitto M-1B BL special, which is designed by Rivendell bicycle works in San Francisco.
The shifters are STI as requested by the owner. We often use old school bar end shifters and down tube shifters though.
The saddle is Selle San Marco Rolls. Looks so fresh!
*SURLY*cross check
The next bike is the Surly Cross Check.
The headset is ChrisKing.
This headset is not affordable, but it is reliable and lasts way longer than any other brands.
The cranksets are Sugino. The pedals are MKS. The stem, handlebar and seatpost are Nitto. Those products are all made in Japan. It is durable and beautiful.
The Brooks leather saddle is a perfect match with steel frames.
*RIVENDELL* sam hillborne
The last one is Rivendell Sam Hillborne.
The Nitto Rivendell b357 choco bar is desligned by Rivendel bicycle in San Francisco and made by Nitto in Japan. The collab can’t go wrong.
The beautiful lugs and bagdes are Rivendell’s signature thing. Very authentic.
The front rack is the Nitto M-1 rack. I used the longer stays to attach the rack on low-rider mounts. This attaching way should be more stable.
The Swift Industries bandito bar and handle bag is a great choice. I was really stoked to built up this bike!
