STRIDSLAND RESTOCKED!
Hi, this is Santa from BLUE LUG Kamiuma store.
It’s been a while since the last time, but we finally restocked STRIDSLAND!
So, let me introduce them!
First of all, let’s start with the frames.
We’ve got a few of Beachcomber in new colors!
“Crackle” with crackled black paint
And this iconic “Homage”.
This color came from C-26 which YETI and EASTON designed in 1990s.
During the golden era of MTB racing, while every manufacturer was producing steel MTB frames, YETI CYCLES teamed up with EASTON to create this C-26 frame with groundbreaking design combining different materials that no one else was doing at the time.
And it was this frame that MTB star John Tomac rode to victory at the World Championships.
(Apparently, it was actually still a prototype and unfinished when he raced it, but he won anyway.)
It’s hard to produce and they didn’t make it so much, but this is definitely one of the legendary MTB frames.

Matias Stridsland is such a bike geek. He always choose really good colors.
He says that “IYKYK (if you know, you know)” about this “Homage”.
Umm, that’s cool. I’m gonna use it from tomorrow.

Only about 20 of C-26 were ever made, and according to Matias, they onlt produce 30 of Beachcomber in “Homage”.
It feels like this “Homage” is gonna be a legend in the STRIDSLAND history.

And the next one is also new product!
“STRIDSLAND 1-1/8 Headset”
This is a 1-1/8″ headset which is available in many colors.
We’ve only had color options for top-grade headsets , but this is kind of reasonable.
You can keep it reasonable, but still you can choose a color.
I like the turquoise and light pink ones…
Also, this is compatible with lots of our bikes such as SURLY, CRUST BIKES, VELO ORANGE.
(You can use these headsets for STRIDSLAND Boomboat and Beachcomber Ti which will be available in the future.)
From now, I’m going to introduce restocked items!
We’ve got some of their popular handlebars too!
Let’s start with Bullship bar.
Jackie from BLUE LUG Kamiuma store loves this bar and installs it on his Boomboat.
This is their original refined version of traditional one-piece MTB handlebars.
It’s strong enough for hard riding, and you can make an easy comfy riding position without so many column spacers.
(We do recommend put some spacers even with this bar since it’s gonna be too short when you replace it with other bars.)

Great for old MTBs which are prone to be low handlebar position.
It’s impressive and super cool.
Anchor bar is also back in stock!
This is their super popular handlebar which flew off the shelve so quickly on their website.
I love this bar too much and own both black and raw.
It’s a bit low rise for a two-piece bar and just right amount of up and back swept angles fit hands really well.
Great not only for off-road bikes, but also for your everyday bikes to make it comfy.
*The clamp diameter is 22.2mm and you’ll need shims for 25.4mm or 31.8mm stems.
We’ve restocked Barnacle fork and Barnacle LITE fork too.
As its name of “Barnacle”, it has 11 eyelets on each side and you can put any kind of racks and cage mounts on it.
You won’t be worried about anything with the fork like this!
LITE fork has only 4 eyelets on each side and it’s lighter, but made with double butted tubings and still strong.
I get off track a little bit, but Matias does manual quite easily even when he put tons of stuffs on his bike.

Barnacle fork was originally designed to repair old MTBs from 80s to 90s.
This is gonna be a good option when you need a replacement fork for your old MTBs, you feel tired of your cockpit, or you don’t have enough eyelets on your fork for bike-packing.
It accommodates up to 26″ x 3.0″ / 27.5″ x 2.5″ / 700 x 45C, and you can install any kind of bikes with 400mm fork blades.
Clint from BIKE FRIDAY TOKYO store installed it on his SURLY Midnight Special for bike-packing tour.
