We invited the president of Nitto, Mr. Yoshikawa and the president of MKS, Mr. Hagino to have a talk show event in Blue Lug Kamiuma.

Many people showed up and had a good time. I believed they enjoyed the event as much as I did. The story about Mr. Yoshikawa went to Tom Pitchy’s house was so funny (cultural difference thing). It was also awesome that Mr. Hagino brought some old prototype pedals that couldn’t be sold.

Time went by really fast to me. I wish I could have the same event next week or like they should do a podcast!

We did the game of rock-paper-scissors for vintage items at the end. What a surprise!

Nitto and MKS have been making bike parts for almost 3 generations. It makes me proud of being Japanese.

Some guy visited the event from oversea. He was a huge fan of Japanese parts.

Almost all customers at the event used Nitto and MKS products on their bikes, even though their bikes are very different each other and very unique.

I also saw many Rivendell bikes! Like 5 years ago I couldn’t even imagine this thing would happen. Many cyclists came and our legends shared their stories and knowledge to us.
We really want to have an event next year! Please visit and hang out with us!
