Jeffrey Sincich x Blue Lug pt. II

Another exciting event is happening in Blue Lug Hatagaya!
Time/date : Dec. 20th (Sat)-21st(Sun) 12:00-7:00pm
Place : Blue Lug Hatagaya
Details : launch of collaboration products
This will be the very last event of 2025.
Jeffrey Sincich is an artist based in SF, who I’m personally a fan of.
I am honored to working with him once again.

We first worked on a project back in 2023.

He had also visited the shop in summer the same year.

And we got another cool collab in 2025.

I loved these Ebbets Field hats he makes. I was fortunate to get one from Jeffrey himself.
We wanted to order the hats for the shop, which he generously said yes and he even let us make a special “Blue Lug” version of the hats!

It was tough to decide which color, but the brown/orange SF MUNI color stood out to me the most from his original SF hats.

So, I went ahead and chose navy blue, the color of Tokyo Metro (subway).

And this is what the finished product looks like.
Navy blue with white BL initials.

Yup, we also have the regular colors on the shelves now!

I’m so stoked on these!

Many of Jeffrey’s art involves window grates. We’ve also asked for an artwork when we talked about the hats.

He made these two art for us around summer. I thought about printing them on tees or hoodies, but I wanted to do something new.

And so we made work jackets! Jeffrey’s work is embroidered hugely on the back of Red Kap work jackets and we’ve added a reflective tape on the lower back area. Gotta have some bikey detail right?

This is the actual window grate on the “SF” art,

And this is the window grate for “BL”, which he stumbled upon while he was visiting Japan.

Come to find out, that window grate was located in Hatagaya, where our 1st store is located! What a miracle!
It’s near a vintage clothing shop called, Paletown. If you’re into window grates yourself and you’re in Japan, go try to find it!
Anyhow, we are doing a launch event for the products above.

In addition to the hats and jackets, we’ve also made various stickers. I hope a lot of people can grab them for souvenirs.

We made bumper stickers,

top tube stickers,

and square stickers.

Last but not least, the good people over at Pacifica Collectives will bring us some of Jeffrey Sincich work to display at the event.
This will actually be my first time seeing his artwork in person, other than the House Logo quilting he made us 2 years ago, so I’m super hyped to see what they bring .
They will also be bringing some of Bill Rebholz‘s work. Bill had worked on graphics for La Marche merch and Allez LA merch.
I think this even is going to be great. Huge thanks to Pacifica Collectives for the help!

The jackets will be available online from Dec. 22nd (Mon) 7:00pm,
if we have enough inventory after the event.
Please note : Jeffrey Sincich himself will not be at the event.
Thank you for your kind understanding in advance.

I, Shin a.k.a. Giga Trash and…

Ray will be running the pop-up.
Let’s see some great art drinking delicious hot beverage, listening to Christmas songs🎅

We also made these post cards which we will be including in all online orders from now and handing them out in stores.

Happy Holidays!✌️
