Hi everyone, my name is Tani.
Today I would like to talk about the Fairweather bike carry bag.

As you may know, when you want to take a bike on a train in Japan, you have to completely cover a bike with a bike bag.

*FAIRWEATHER* bike carry bag
We’ve used many kinds of carry bags, but we can’t find what we want, therefore we just made this.

My colleague, Wentz will show you how to use this bag.

It is small enough to put in the Fiarweather CX frame bag.

First, take off the front brake.
IMG_6921
Put the frame between the wheels.
It`s probably better to turn a handlebar like 90 degrees to make the bike more compact.

Take the orange strap. Neon orange is great because it’s easy to find. You don’t want to lose them for sure.

The straps are stretchy. Binding a frame and wheels is not too difficult.

Perfect!

Spread the bag and cover the bike.

I believe that this kind of tool should be instinctive. You don’t want to read the manual. Simple instruction.
Bind the wheels. Spread the bag. Cover the bike. Easy. Life changing.

Pull the string of the bag.
IMG_6978
It fits most of the bikes.

At last, install the carry strap. For the bike carry bag’s opening, the velcro is better. From my experience, the zipper is easier to break.

If you get used to it, it takes less than 10 minutes. You don’t need to make your friends wait.

The trip will be a whole different thing if you take your bike on the trip. It is always fun to ride strange land, and you’ll love your bike a lot more.
