“Peace Sports is a project I started to spread positive messages to the world. I’m inspired by people’s passion and enthusiasm for something. I believe that moving your body is the way to maintain your mental health. I want to make people smile with my products and bring new ideas to the cycling culture”

Isaac Ramos, the man behind Peace Sports replied when I asked what exactly is Peace Sports about in 2022-ish.

The words “I believe that moving your body is the way to maintain your mental health.” caught my eyes when I was digging up some old emails with Isaac before writing this blog.

I was feeling kind of down these days, but looking at those words reminded me that I haven’t been riding or getting any exercise since it’s been so cold. I gained a few kilos and becoming a bit chubby, so I decided to go on a solo ride in the snow after work.

Since I got inspired to ride from Isaac’s words, I decided to hang the Chubby Triangle Reflectors that he designed on my current favorite bike, Fairweather Dodo.

Before I start, I decided to look at my two favorite rides. Ah yes, I love both of them.

Look at this tiny park. The snow and emptiness gave this place a liminal space vibe.

Okay, gotta keep it moving.

Come to think of it, it’s probably the first time I’m riding a full fendered Dodo in the bad weather. My butt was dry the whole time and it was awesome! The front and read dynamo was clutch too. I’m glad I invested in them.

The snow getting lit from the street light was a lovely sight.

Man, our reflectors shine so bright.

I rode around my neighborhood less than an hour, but it was fun riding in the snow. Just pedaling aimlessly and letting my brain process what I’m feeling while riding was great. Things like “Man, full fenders are sick!”, “Oh shit, rim brakes are not the best in the snow”, “I’m glad I chose these knobby tires”, “Oh, I didn’t know there was a small alley here…” came up to mind while I pedal.

No deep thoughts, just my brain processing things I saw or felt. It definitely helped me get rid of the clouds in my head.

I love driving cars too, but riding a bike has it’s own charm for sure. I can watch how the people move with the city more carefully with a bike, which I find entertaining.

Riding with friends is always fun, but riding your favorite bike alone works better to clear my mind.

Move your body and keep your mind healthy!🧘

Anyhow, the Chubby Triangles are back in stock.

They now have a new face!

↑This is the 2023 version.

↑This is the 2026 version.

They have a chiller facial expression than last time, which I like.

They are available in Safety Yellow, orange, silver and blue. The blue has a peace mark instead of the chubby face.

They’re great for hanging on the saddle of your bike, bags or even the little hook on your car.

All four colors are now available on our website, but Isaac also has some for his website. He only has safety yellow listed on the website, but try hitting him up to get the other colors.

I love Isaac as a friend, but I also love him as an artist. The characters he draws and the colors on his works always give me a warm feeling.

Since 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Blue Lug, I’ve been feeling very grateful for all the support from all over the world.

We appreciate all your support all the time, of course. But the 20 year milestone is definitely a big factor to boost our appreciation towards you. I wanted to express our gratitude in our own way, so with the help of Isaac, who brings peace to our hearts, we made two types of postcards.

We started including one of them in all the orders that were placed within the couple days and are planning to continue unitl we run out. We’re also giving them out for people who shopped in stores, so please talk to our staffs if you’d like one.

Again, thank you so much for your support!

We hope to keep riding together!
