SHTAK (手沢) means something like long-time use gives an additional charm to the tool in Japanese.
Based on the SHTAK concept, I made an original messenger bag.

When I lived in New York in 1996, I’ve seen a messenger. He (with huge dreadlocks) was riding past traffic jams really fast (probably Houston Street and Broadway). He was like “ha-ha” and flipping a bird.  I was like “look at that dude. This is the coolest thing right here.” That was unforgettable. Then I got a job as a messenger bag maker in a carrier company based in Tokyo. Therefore, making a messenger bag is very special to me. This is kind of my roots.

The outer material of the bag is waxed canvas. Unlike modern materials, waxed canvas is capable of gradually developing water-washed fading effect. The lining tarpaulin fabric is yellow like an old school Manhattan portage.

This one is a bit smaller size than a normal messenger bag.

On a tag, you can write a first day of using this bag, so in the future, you will recall how long you’ve been using. This is part of a SHTAK (手沢) concept.
