Hello, this is Stitch from the Blue Lug product design team.
I joined Blue Lug to make clothes. I plan and design the clothes from scratch!

One of my latest work was the Bike Shorts we released this summer. Thank you to whoever got those and I hope you are liking them.

I personally bought the orange and ivory one and wore the heck out of them. They’re great for wearing daily, wearing as room wear, jogging and more.

Many of the coworkers here fortunately got their hands on the shorts and many of them requested a pant version of the Bike Shorts. I am a big fan of ideas that is brought up naturally, so I decided to listened to their voice.

It’s basically the long version of the Bike Shorts. They have elastic waist bands and adjustable belts.

They have five pockets total, two in the front, two in the back and an extra phone pocket.

This phone pocket is clutch. The phone sits nicely in the pocket without interfering your pedaling when on the saddle. They also have zippers so the phone stays safe. The phone pockets is so subtle you can’t even tell there is a pocket there.

Like I said, it’s just a pant version of the Bike Shorts.

Draw cords in the pant legs. Cinch them up to wear them like joggers.

I like to think that the key to making work wear and techy gear is to have the functionality easily accessible, while being noticeable when the users are not thinking about them.

For example, cinch cord locks tend to make contact with your shoes, making a clicking sound with every step you make. I’ve used small cinch cord locks to prevent the sound as much as possible.

It’s a really small detail and some people may get over that clicking sound from a large cord lock, but I think it’s nice to pay attention to those small things.

The pants feature a key loop on the front. Keys can be hooked here and stowed in the pocket to be extra safe.

One hack I like is to hook the keys to the *SUPER COIL* clip on key coil and avoid taking off the carabiners from the loop.

By no means they are pants that keep you warm.

They’re just easy pants that are made of Taslan Nylon. It’s a nylon fabric that feels dry smooth. You’ve probably had something made of this fabric at some point in life.

The pants are water repellent for the first few wears, so they should protect you from a small amount of rain.

Relaxed fit with slightly tapered bottom.

Black and charcoal blends well in the city, while Sage blends in the nature pretty well.

For everyday life, riding and outdoor activities, these pants should fit various occasions seamlessly.

I am hoping that the Motion Pants will become one of your pants of choice.
