Bike Checks in Blue Lug Kamiuma!
Hello everyone! Blue Lug has a cafe / bar called Lug Hatogaya. Natsu works in the cafe. She is very nice and inspires other people. Of course, she rides a bike a lot.
Natsu’s husband, Pusan works in Blue Lug Kamiuma on every weekend. He used to be a bike messenger and rides a bike on holiday very hard. If you want to know about the fast bike and parts, please come to Blue Lug Kamiuma to ask him.
Okay. I would like to talk about the bike that we build lately. Let’s do some bike checks!
*SURLY*karate monkey size:18″
Surely Karate monkey was remodeled this season.
This frame is simple but versatile. It can be an off road mountain bike and street cruiser. The new model has more eyelets on a fork and a frame, so it can put a rack.
I like the set-up, the long top tube and the short Thomson stem, and the Nitto B802 is a great riser handlebar for this frame.
The owner asked us that he wanted a bike looks like BMX but not like a fat bike, and I like a single-gear but I need 700c wheels.. Well, I hope this bike will satisfy demand. I think it will.
The mechanical disc brake is easier to maintain and good water weather performance. I recommended this to him because he mainly rides on the street. The Paul love levers are beautiful levers for a disc brake. They were also renewed in this season. It is the best feeling now.
The White Industries crankset is beautifully machined. He rode an American custom motorcycle to come to our shop when he order, so I introduced him American components.
The cog ring is Chris King.
I really like this bike! The new Karate Monkey is awesome!
This bike is also a single-speed bike. The slim tubing and the flat top tube are nice; it is very different from the Karate monkey.
The owner chose the green color frame and silver components. The leather saddle and cork grips match well with the frame. The owner has a good taste.
The Fairweather CR79 fillet stem is a good stem with the Fairweather Track.
I like a solid single-speed bike, but I recently feel like this relax style.
The Philwood hubs were reliable as you know, and these last longer than any other hubs.
*ALL CITY* space horse size:46
Look at the fenders! This is Honjo’s mudguard, made in Japan.
This frame was designed by a woman designer so it is already cute without custom paint.
Almost all components are Nitto.
The grips are Brooks. If you don’t like Shimano’s in-line shift levers, I recomend these thumb shifters, which make looks simple.
Installed the Paul Chain keeper to keep the chain right where it belongs.
I wish more woman ride bikes like this. If so, it will make Japan a little better, I meant seriously.
You can check other beautiful bike on the Blue Lug bike catalog. Thank you for reading! Sayonara!
