Hi everyone! I am Matsu from Blue Lug Yoyoko.
In Blue Lug Yoyoko, We’ve built a lot customer’s first bikes, and many of them are the Surly Cross-Check and the Steamroller.

A lot of customers want a bike not only for daily use, but also taking a trip to find another world.
Well, the Cross-check and the Steamroller could make their wishes come true.

The frame and other parts are all solid silver. The Fairweather tires are also similar gray.

Single-speed bikes are great for riding around Tokyo. You just have to stand up a little more while riding uphill, but it is simpler; there are fewer parts on the bicycle that require maintenance.

Gears can be installed on this frame, so there is no problem if he change his mind later.

The front rack is Pelago’s Rasket from Finland. Rack and Basket? What a great name.

It is a little bigger and deeper than the Wald 137 basket, so it’s nice if you carry tons of stuff. It looks cool too. Please ask us freely if you are interested in that product.

Actually, it is rare that we build a sporty Steamroller even though we built a lot of  Surly bikes.
So I really enjoyed building this sports bike.

Wide flat handlebars are a recent trend for single-speed bikes. They have nice controllability, so it simply feels good to ride. It is definitely different from riding with bullhorn bars. You should be careful when you sneak through cars, though.

The typhoon season is still ongoing, but it is getting cooler and drier day by day in Tokyo.
Public transportation is great here, but you can find something new when you go by bike.
Blue Lug Yoyoko is very close to a nice park called Yoyogi park. Please come to our shop and go on a picnic there!
