LA Trip Report pt.1
Just got back from the U.S.
I didn’t make any announcements beforehand, but I flew out to California to take part in the LA Invitational.

Some of our dudes met Sean and the Cub House crew at the Made Bike Show last year and we were lucky enough to get an invite from them, so I took Sub, our YouTube guy and my new bike to LA.
I’ll get into to more details of the bike and the kit I am wearing on a different post.
What is LA Invitational you ask?
It is an annual bike, show/car show/swap meet/ride event hosted by The Cub House. This was my first time ever going to the event, or an event anything like this. I think more than 1000 people showed up, it was insane.

Day 1, Saturday. I got to the place at 7:00. A ton of people were already there, standing by for the ride. It was a crazy view when we all started at once. I saw gravel bikes, vintage MTBs, Rivendells, Surlys, etc…I didn’t see any road bikes. I’m always stoked to see all these people riding whatever bike they like in events like this in America.
It rained a bit when we started, but the beautiful Cali Sun had shown its face soon after.
Felt so good!
There were three different rides. Single, double and triple scoop. The more the number goes up, the more hard the ride is. I rode the double scoop.

Double scoop was pretty tough, but I was able to finish. Big thanks to Jimmy from Fabrica de Rosas for cheering me up at the last check point!
Then I went back to The Cub House and got the I DID IT! patch.
We made some cool stuff for this event, so let’s go through them real quick.
