Gallop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This blog post will mostly be about my personal life, so I apologize in advance if it&#8217;s boring.<\/p>\n<p>My daughter had entered pre-school and by the looks how she comes home with dirty clothes almost everyday, I think she&#8217;s enjoying her time at pre-school. She now brings her own shoes to me and tells me to take her outside.<\/p>\n<p>I am very happy that she is enjoying going to pre-school.<\/p>\n<p>This also means that my wife will be going back to work. My wife went through morning sickness to maternity leave, giving birth and childcare leave. She&#8217;s going to work for the first time in a year and 3 months. I can&#8217;t imagine myself going back to work for the first time in such a long time.<\/p>\n<p>During the year and 3 months, she even went through days where she&#8217;s taking care of our daughter the whole time. I am very appreciative for my wife.<\/p>\n<p>My wife liked riding bikes before she had our baby, but she obviously couldn&#8217;t ride during pregnancy. Gallop (49)<\/p>\n<p>She would often say that she wanted to ride a Rivendell. The bike she had been riding a Velo Orange Piolet and her request for her next bike was a nimble bike.<\/p>\n<p>A nimble Rivendell&#8230;I couldn&#8217;t find the best answer, but thankfully the <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.com\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=charlie+h.+gallop\">Charlie H. Gallop<\/a> made its debut.\u3002<br \/>\nI thought this was a perfect bike for her, since Will at Rivendell described it as <a href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/c4410741fde8\/the-gallop-presale-is-october-25th-at-noon?e=a040f5fa8e\">&#8220;Rachel Bike&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"*RIVENDELL* charlie h. gallop (49)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/bluelug\/54444829258\/in\/photostream\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54444829258_df5dff4732_3k.jpg\" alt=\"*RIVENDELL* charlie h. gallop (49)\" width=\"3072\" height=\"2048\" \/><\/a><script src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Although it was a gift, it was important to keep the budget lower, since I wanted her to ride it with any concerns, so I built it up with parts from my parts bin.<\/p>\n<p>I used the <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.com\/nitto-rivendell-choco-moose-bar-thread.html\">*NITTO* rivendell b910 choco-moose bar<\/a> that I saved. These bars have a lower rise, providing a perfect amount of upright position. Choosing parts together is a priceless time.<\/p>\n<p>She chose the <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.com\/ritchey-wcs-true-grip-yellow.html\">*RITCHEY* wcs true grip.<\/a> I wonder if this choice was because my love for Ritchey. Leather saddles are sometimes too much to take care of, so we chose this one. I am a big fan of its zippiness and how stable the steering feels. It&#8217;s great for beginners and for experienced riders. I love zippy bikes, so I&#8217;m really loving how this bike feels.<\/p>\n<p>My wife and I went on a short ride while our daughter was at pre-school the other day, and she seems to like the bike a lot. I was happy I chose this bike for her.<\/p>\n<p>Bikes are like a universal language for us.
