For those of you don’t know, we have three Blue Lug stores in Tokyo and one in Kagoshima.<\/p>\n

Kagoshima is a prefecture about 1300km down south from Tokyo. At the southern tip of mainland Japan, Kagoshima Prefecture is\u00a0nicknamed the \u201cNaples of the East\u201d for its bay and comfortable climate<\/b>. The prefecture is incredibly active geologically and is home to the great volcanoes of Mt. Kirishima and Mt. Sakurajima.<\/p>\n

Around this time of the year, the local artists and creators get together and holds a massive event.<\/p>\n

The name of the event is called Ash Design & Craft Fair<\/strong>. Here is the description of the event from their website.<\/p>\n

\nThe 17th \u201cAsh Design & Craft Fair\u201d will be held.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, there are makers and craftspeople who are based in the countryside but are active nationwide,<\/strong>
\nMore stores than ever are choosing to operate in the suburbs rather than in the center of the city.<\/strong>
\nThey are distancing themselves from efficiency and fast currents, and evolving in their own unique way with a life-size sensibility,<\/strong>
\nThey may be the ones to show us a new view of the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be 74 venue\/galleries and over 100 creators who will be attending this massive event, and we will be one of them.<\/p>\n

Blue Lug Kagoshima will be having a pop-up\/work shop with two VERY special guests from USA on the 23rd and 24th.<\/p>\n

We’ll have fun handmade all over printed bags and reflectors with Isaac’s art<\/p>\n
