It&#8217;s Duncan!<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.com\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=super+professional\">ALL-CITY Super Professional<\/a>\u00a0is finally available with brand new colorways!<\/p>\n<p>I was sooooo waiting for this frame. Was already deciding to build this bike when I knew its release. Now that I built it, let me introduce the bike!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And whilst I was writing this blog, got a shocking news from <a href=\"https:\/\/theradavist.com\/all-city-cycles-closing\/\">ALL-CITY CYCYES closing its brand<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It was totally out of the blue, seems like it&#8217;s still continuing for a while though (By the end of 2024?) . So if you are considering to get one, there&#8217;s still time for you, no need to rush now.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I&#8217;ve been already saying that I want this bike the most when we made the ALL-CITY chart last year.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Paf3eQ7Ebdg?start=90\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This frame inherits the characters from two ALL-CITY chromoly big brothers, the geared Macho Man, and the singlesepeed Nature Boy.<\/p>\n<p>Chromoly steel frame that comes with Thru Axle on both ends, flat mount disc brakes, and a sliding dropout to accommodate both singlespeed and geared use. It&#8217;s a well balanced bike.<\/p>\n<p>I built this bike to mainly use it as my 12km rapid commuter.<\/p>\n<p>CX racer geometry suits perfect in a city environment, where there&#8217;s a lot of stop-and-go moments. Expectations? Simply perfect.<\/p>\n<p>The frame can both fit 700c and 650b wheels. Since it&#8217;s a speedy bike build, I chose to build 700c wheels with DT SWISS rims and hubs.<\/p>\n<p>Picked PANARACER Gravel King 700x35c tires. Didn&#8217;t make it tubeless to prioritize a stable ride rather than pursing lightness.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"*ALL-CITY* super professional (49)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/bluelug\/53066856942\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53066856942_7ddc7f051f_h.jpg\" alt=\"*ALL-CITY* super professional (49)\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" \/><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Been riding for around a month now for my everyday commute, and it has been delivering me a super quick and fresh riding experience.<\/p>\n<p>It weights quite a bit because of its chromoly tubing (the complete bike without any accessories: 11.5kg) . So it is a bit heavy when start pedaling, won&#8217;t deny that, but it&#8217;s superb at catching speed and maintaining it.<\/p>\n<p>Because I attached a <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.com\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=paloma\">SWIFT INDUSTRIES Paloma<\/a> on the handlebar, the handling is a bit heavy but not much of a problem.<\/p>\n<p>I do enjoy the adventurous gravel rides of course, but considering that I ride on tarmac everyday and just sometimes ride rough roads, I prefer this high-speed bike setup.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-144483\" src=\"https:\/\/bluelug.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/11fm2967-04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bluelug.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/11fm2967-04.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/bluelug.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/11fm2967-04-480x480.jpg 480w, https:\/\/bluelug.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/11fm2967-04-900x900.jpg 900w, https:\/\/bluelug.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/11fm2967-04-786x786.jpg 786w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By the way, for those who wanna experience a even lighter and quicker ride, they have prepared you a <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.com\/all-city-super-professional-carbon-frame-set-hollywood-violet.html\">carbon fork frame version<\/a> from the very start!<\/p>\n<p>I chose the chromoly fork version as I would probably mount a front rack at some point, but now there&#8217;s a option called <a href=\"https:\/\/global.bluelug.com\/wilde-wayfinder-carbon-fork.html\">WILDE Wayfinder Carbon Fork<\/a>, I&#8217;m already itching to swap it.<\/p>\n<p>My height is 172cm, and I chose the 49cm frame size, with 695mm saddle height.
